Description
All coolers sold come with a powerful water filtration system that is certified for 1,200 gallons. This system takes care of lead, chlorine, cysts, bad taste and odor reduction all in one commercial grade cartridge. However, if you live in an area where there is higher sediment in the municipal water, you may want to consider upgrading to a dual-stage twist-off purification system to prolong filter life if you find your single filter clogs prematurely, in less than 6 months.
NOTE: This is an upgrade for filtration already included in your standard install kit. This UPGRADE kit contains One Model XO5505 Stage-One Pre-Filter (which removes larger sediment before the water then passes through the Stage Two Model XO5515 Filter). It also includes the Filter Head needed for the Stage One Pre-Filter to twist into.
INCLUDED are: One XO5505 Stage One Filter and One Filter Head. Also included is the bracket needed to secure the filter/head, in/to your cooler.
