XO cooler comes "plug-and-play" for installation. We include 25 feet of flexible waterway and everything you need to get your cooler set up. We include step-by-step instructions and online videos to help you out.

Option #3: Use A Local Plumber
As you saw from the video above, the waterway for an XO coolers is typically attached to the cold water pipe under a sink. Since this waterway is attached after the shut off valve, you usually don't need a plumber. But, a local plumber is always an option if you require it.

Option #1: Install Your XO Cooler Yourself
First of all, if you are replacing an existing bottleless cooler, you need not purchase anything but the cooler.

If you want to consider installing the cooler yourself, it’s similar to connecting an ice maker waterway to your refrigerator. We provide detailed step-by-step videos and a manual that make installation a breeze. Your installation kit comes with 25' feet of flexible, burst-free waterway, a push-on twist filtration system that turns the water on and off when you change the filter. If you need more than 25' feet of waterway, no problem. Just add it to your cart in the options section of the Pricing page.

Installation: A Brief Overview..
First, a waterway is attached to the closest water source - which is usually under a sink. However, it can be from an overhead pipe. Don’t worry, the sink will operate just like it always has. It takes about 30 seconds to attach our flexi-pipe to your water source. The waterway is then run to wherever you want your new cooler. The flexi-pipe is a flexible, burst-free, food-grade water line made specifically for the drinking water industry industry.

Installation: A Brief Overview..

In most cases, the waterways for the bottleless cooler are run invisibly inside the walls and over the drop ceiling and right to the cooler. If you've never seen this done, it's actually easier than you may think. The waterway can also be run on the outside of the walls covered with molding. Everything is hidden – just like all of your telephone and electrical lines. The waterway is then plugged in to the XO BottleLESS water cooler.

XO Bottleless Water Cooler can be installed just about anywhere. The cooler doesn’t have to be next to, or near, a sink. You don’t even have to have a sink in your office, some have been installed over 1,000 feet from a water source! For especially long distances, you probably want to call the office at 1-888-299-6144.

*Standard Installation: The following is written only for those who choose the $199 installation fee by ZIP Express. We have established the following parameters to define a $199 "standard installation". We did this to be fair to the installers at ZIP Express. If your cooler falls significantly outside of these parameters, ZIP Express may require an additional reasonable charge beyond the $199 installation fee. They will discuss everything with you before proceeding.

Standard Installation means:
The cooler should be within 25 feet of a water source to be considered a "standard installation" for $199. ZIP can still install the cooler if it's a long distance from the water source, but there may be an additional, reasonable fee. (Note: If the water source is more than 25' feet, you will need to purchase an additional 25' foot section of waterway on the Accessories page). For significantly longer installations, please let us know in advance so we may allot more time.
We reserve the right not drill through marble, Corian or other hard surface materials.
• If the waterway is to be run over a ceiling in an office, the ceiling should be accessible, preferably a "drop ceiling".
